Human Factors is the scientific analysis of all of the elements that affect performance, with the aim of optimising work, safety, productivity and wellbeing. It examines all interations between individuals, colleagues and the environment and encompasses many areas of research including the physical and cultural environement, user technology interface, equipment design, team working, standard operating procedures and individual factors such as stress, decision making, workload management and communication.
HFC19 will see speakers, from the circles of academia and research, introduce theories and concepts alongside speakers from industry, to illustrate application to the workplace. You will leave the conference armed with real world tools and knowledge to immediately put into practice.
