Developing All Hazard Leader

Peter Critchell and Craig Raynor with K Lamb/Effective Command, are speaking about the behavioral marking tool Effective Command and how its used as an operational incident command training tool. Peter spoke to the conference over command challenges within aviation and how to develop the all hazard leader, above simply ‘compliant’. He outlined the variations between aviation and local authority standards within the framework and how Effective Command may bridge the gap that exists. Peter covered the methodology that sits behind the tool, from .the Certified behavioral marking framework – covering technical and non technical competencies, it focuses on decision making behaviors and many other criteria. Craig gave an overview of how the system works, from the different reports that can be produced, the training portal with the training videos based around incident command scenarios.
